Background and method
What Business Agile does
Business Agile is a custom development studio based in Boulogne-Billancourt, near Paris. I design, code, deploy and maintain websites, business applications, APIs and online stores. I work for the Groupe BERREBI companies and for outside clients across France and Europe.
The portfolio on this site shows the range: an antique dealer at the Paul Bert flea market, wedding photographers, natural cosmetics workshops, a scientific monitoring platform, a long engagement in the rail sector, internal products and open source contributions. Each case study says what I did myself, and what belongs to others when the work was shared.
A direct line to the person building it
In many web projects, information gets lost between the person who has the need, the one who sells, the one who plans and the one who writes the code. At Business Agile, you talk directly to the person who designs and writes the code. You explain your business, I propose a solution, I build it and I show you progress every week on a staging environment.
When a project needs more hands or advanced AI skills, I bring in developers I have already worked with and Arbre Agile, the group's sister studio. And if another provider would suit you better, I tell you.
How I work
I start with a short scoping phase: what the project must achieve, what already exists (code, hosting, search rankings) and what can wait. I then ship in small steps, each one visible online on a staging environment kept out of search engines. Going live goes through an automated pipeline: tests, Docker image build, deployment.
Every project follows the same written rules, shared with the sister studio: server rendering or prerendering so that search and answer engines can read the content, careful typography, legal pages naming the host and every provider, code and comments in English, signed commits.
The tools I use
On the server I work in Python: FastAPI for APIs and light services, Django and Django REST Framework for data-heavy applications, PostgreSQL, sometimes a graph such as Memgraph or Neo4j. On the interface side, React and TanStack Start with Tailwind CSS. For hosting: Docker, Traefik, Let's Encrypt, GitLab CI and OVH servers.
I also contribute to open source when a tool I rely on needs it: three of my contributions were merged into Neontology, a Python graph modelling library.
Business Agile and Groupe BERREBI
Business Agile is a French limited company (SARL) founded on 4 January 2016 and one of the Groupe BERREBI companies, alongside Arbre Agile (an AI studio) and Éco-Actives (ecological workshops and products, Ti Kosmeo brand). The studio builds these companies' websites, which lets me test on our own projects the methods I then apply for clients.
